Advance booking is advised and effectively required at busy times (travel-agency blog says on-site tickets often sell out in summer and queues can exceed 1 hour). The only official channel is the WeChat official account '清晖园博物馆' (menu 参观服务/购票服务 → 门票预约/购票入口); the museum states it does not sell via any other online platform. Booking opens 1–7 days ahead (one blog says 1–3 days), daily visitor caps and timed slots (e.g. 09:00–11:00, 14:00–16:00), real-name registration with name + ID number (up to 5 visitors per account), electronic QR code scanned at the gate; cancel at least 1 day ahead or it counts as a no-show (max 3 no-shows in 30 days). Group bookings by phone 0757-22226196 or qinghuiyuanyuyue@163.com. Whether a foreign passport can be used instead of a Chinese ID is not stated.

Regular adult ticket 15 CNY; during New Year, Spring Festival, Qingming, Labour Day, Dragon Boat, Mid-Autumn and National Day holidays an 8%… actually a 20% discount applies, i.e. 12 CNY/ticket. Group ticket 12 CNY (15 or more bought at once, pre-booked by phone/email). Concession 7 CNY (1.5m+ minors under 18, full-time students up to bachelor level, 60–64 seniors). Free: Shunde hukou/residence-permit holders, students enrolled in Shunde schools, 65+, children 6 or under / under 1.5m with a guardian, military/veterans, disabled, journalists, licensed tour guides, one carer for severely disabled visitors. One entry per ticket.
