Entry is free. The Shapowei waterfront (避风坞) and the surrounding streets, including the Art West District (艺术西区) street-level galleries and shops, are free to enter. Only occasional special exhibitions or markets inside the Art West District charge separately, about ¥20–50 per person, with students often getting a discount on presentation of ID; prices are as posted on site.
