Advance real-name booking is required — in 2026 the scenic area runs 'no booking, no entry' with no on-site ticket windows; buy via WeChat mini-programs 「玉龙雪山服务」or「丽江旅游集团」, up to 7 days ahead. Cable-car tickets are released separately: 大索道 at 20:00 daily for the next day, 云杉坪/牦牛坪 at 21:00. Passport booking for foreigners is not stated on these pages.

Blue Moon Valley has no separate ticket (free entry), but it lies inside the Yulong Snow Mountain scenic area, so the mountain entrance fee is mandatory: 100 CNY 进山费 (covers 蓝月谷/甘海子/白水河) + 20 CNY mandatory eco-shuttle = 120 CNY minimum. Optional extras: 大索道 (Glacier Park) 120–140 CNY, 云杉坪 60 CNY, 牦牛坪 65–70 CNY, in-valley sightseeing cart 50 CNY, sightseeing train 50 CNY one-way / 80 CNY return. Half price for students and seniors 60+, free for 70+ and children under 1.2 m; 2026 exam candidates free with admission ticket.
