Advance real-name booking is mandatory in 2026 — no on-site ticket sales for ordinary visitors, unbooked visitors are turned away. Book up to 7 days ahead via WeChat mini-programs '玉龙雪山服务' (entry ticket) and '丽江旅游集团' (cableway tickets); tickets for the 7th day are released daily at 20:00. Same ID card limited to one cableway purchase per day/90 days. Booking with a foreign passport is not mentioned on any page.

How much is a ticket to Yak Meadow?

No separate gate ticket for Yak Meadow itself; it sits inside the Yulong Snow Mountain scenic area, so visitors pay the 100 CNY entry fee plus a mandatory 20 CNY shuttle bus (120 CNY total) and then the Yak Meadow cableway fare, quoted as 65 CNY/person on the most recent 2026 pages (60 CNY on an Aug 2026 page, 45 CNY on an Oct 2026 page; all pages say prices follow the mini-program in real time). Baidu Baike (Dec 2025) instead says entry is included in a 105 CNY Yulong Snow Mountain ticket and elsewhere 130 CNY. Cableway rides may be suspended in strong wind and the operator advises checking open status before travelling.
