Do I need to book Laoshan in advance?
Advance real-name online booking is required ('先预约后出行'); booking channel opens 7 days ahead. Book via the WeChat official accounts '崂山风景区' / '青岛崂山风景名胜区' or OTA platforms (Ctrip, Meituan, Douyin) searching 【崂山风景区】. Daily visitor quotas per 游览区; when the cap is reached no tickets are available. Refunds/changes must be made through the original channel before the booked entry slot ends; a new booking is needed for another date. Vehicle access to the Z004 仰口–垭口 road on 1–5 May requires a free separate car reservation via the WeChat account (opens 5 days ahead, 08:00 daily, 7-seat cars only). Passport booking for foreigners is not mentioned on any page.
